Lahinch is a friendly village on the shores of Liscannor Baywith long sandy
beach, an attractive seaside promenade, magnificent views and two internationally reputated golf courses
There's a large selection of restaurants, pubs and fast food outlets. A number of shops provide for souvenirs, clothing, handcrafts, golf supplies and books. The area is
also known for it's nightly entertainment during the summer months. Seaworld with its large indoor heated swimming pool attracts especially families.
It is an ideal base for touring the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Aran
Islands, The Burren, Ailwee Caves, Galway and Limerick.
The area is also steeped in history with the
remains of both Kilmacreehy Church and Dough Castle.
